Celebrity chef and ‘bizarre foods’ connoisseur Andrew Zimmern dropped by Atlanta recently to shoot an episode of his new show “The Zimmern List.” Several Postec customers are featured in the episode.
The new show is focused on Andrew describing his personal favorites for places, foods and experiences that should be on everyone’s itinerary when travelling to a certain destination.
According to the show website, Zimmern came to Atlanta and dug into Southern staples, searched for one of the best burgers in America and made ‘a beeline’ for a joint serving delicious Korean fare.
Atlanta Magazine wrote up a summary of the episode and noted that Andrew called Atlanta “a city with a dozen different food personalities.”
His first stop was Mary Mac’s Tea Room where he joked about wanting a table for one and food for three. The burger described earlier apparently came from Ann’s Snack Bar in Kirkwood and then Zimmern stopped by several spots in Ponce City Market, including Simply Seoul, El Super Pan and W.H. Stiles Fish Camp.
