Forbes Magazine, creator of prestigious lists recognizing best in class in a variety of areas, including the Forbes 100, America’s Best Cities and World’s Most Innovative Companies, recently added a new list:  Forbes Cloud 100.  This list recognizes the top 100 companies leading the way in cloud computing, as decided by Forbes editors.

Additionally, 20 ‘Rising Stars’ were selected by a panel of judges representing leading public cloud companies.  According to Forbes.com, The Rising Stars are “promising companies” that were “too small to be eligible” for the larger list, “but too fast-growing to ignore.”  Toast POS is one of the leading cloud-based POS restaurant systems.  Toast POS is in the category of ‘enterprise mobile’ and shares a spot on the list with companies like Canva, popular cloud-based design software, and SHYFT, delivering an enterprise cloud analytics for life sciences.
