Micros Eclipse

Space is always at a premium in hospitality and retail environments, so the Eclipse was designed with one of the smallest footprints available in a Point of Sale terminal. Liquid spills are a common peril for POS workstations; The Eclipse has no exposed vents, seams are designed to channel liquids off the unit and the display is sealed with a rubber O-ring. The Eclipse outer casework is a tough ABS plastic, capable of withstanding the most extreme punishment, yet wipes clean easily.

The 12.1" High Bright Active Matrix Display is a mounted on a self-adjusting hinge, not only allowing it to be positioned ideally for each user, but ensuring it keeps it position when in use. MICROS has pioneered the use of 5 Wire Resistive Touchscreen technologies, and continues that tradition with the Eclipse. 5 Wire Resistive touchscreens provide the best combination of durability, accuracy, consistency and usability.
