Postec Awarded IBM Market Growth Achievement Award

Dallas, TX - January 27, 2004 — Postec was one of three IBM Resellers awarded the market growth achievement award for 2003 at the IBM RSS Convention held in Dallas, Texas this month.

Postec became an IBM reseller in September 2002 and has been successful in integrating the IBM retail product line, especially in three areas:

• The IBM ACE Grocery Scanning Product has now been sold and installed in more than 100 lanes with stores in Atlanta, Commerce, and Chattanooga. Additional orders for (2) Retailers will see an additional 13 stores to go live this spring.
• The IBM Surepos 500 is continuing to rollout to Paradies Corporation with gift shops located at more than 40 airport locations around the country. This spring an additional 110 terminals will be shipped to George W. Bush Airport (Houston) and several other locations, including some Casino Hotel Operations.
• The IBM Surepos 300 bundle is now installed at several locations combined with Microsoft Retail Management System software at ladies boutiques.
