David Shaw began his career in the POS industry in 1973 as the Regional Sales Manager for Mobydata PMS Systems, where he developed many large accounts such as Sheraton, ITT Hotels and United Inns. In 1975 he took a position with Sweda International as Director of Marketing for Hospitality Products and played a key role in new product development targeted to emerging restaurant, hotel and resort markets. Following his success in this role, Sweda charged David with responsibilities as Regional Sales Manager and Branch Manager based out of Atlanta.
In 1987 David left Sweda to form Postec, Inc and has since remained as its President and CEO to grow the company to its current state. With direction provided through David’s vision, leadership, and dedication to customer service, Postec is currently the recognized leader in providing state-of-the-art systems and innovative support to a diverse and ever-growing customer base.
